The Liberal Democrat party conference in Bournemouth is a wrap! It was a crazy busy few days but a lot of fun. From the 23 to the 26 September, I:
Announced new Lib Dem health policies such as “mental health MOTs”, mental health hubs for young people in every community, and a raft of measures to transform the nation’s health
Took part in 5 expert panel discussions on health and care: tech enabled care, cancer screening, valuing carers, health and prosperity, health policies for the next election
Took part in an X/Twitter Spaces Q&A with Cancer Research UK
Met U.K. business leaders attending our conference
Spoke at various events on:
re-building General Practice
U.K.-EU relations, hosted by the European Movement
press & broadcast regulation
thanking our parliamentary candidates
the life sciences industry in the UK
attracting people form ethnic minority backgrounds into politics
Was interviewed 19 times on Lib Dem priorities, policies and our role in British politics
Met charities whose campaigns I have supported
Met up with Hertfordshire campaigners for a catch up
Enjoyed some & by the sea!
