At St Albans Cathedral, under the newly installed peace doves, people from across the district gathered for a Peace Vigil.
Faith leaders spoke about the importance of peace in their own religions. Rabbi Adam and Akhtar took questions from members of the public about their recent inter-faith work, including going into St Albans schools together to talk to children about the Israel-Gaza conflict, how to agree to disagree, and why Jews and Muslims refuse to be enemies.
I felt very proud of our community.
