Another fantastic St Georgeโs Day lunch organised by St Albans chamber of commerce – well done everyone!
Great speech by Chamber directors reminding us that St George had a Turkish father and a Palestinian mother, and that we English adopted St George as our Saint as an immigrant and in recognition of his virtues of bravery and acceptance of others – long may these values continue!
We had a wonderful lunch thanks to Sopwell House, a cracking sing-song and a phenomenal performance by magician Ben Hanlin!
