After months of hard work with parents and Lib Dem County councillors, I am delighted to report three good news stories:
Herts County Council has accepted that it needs to expand the intake at Beaumont School permanently.
Herts County Council has agreed to buy the building that will enable Muriel Green Nursery to remain open.
At my request, Herts County Council has joined the F40 campaign group of lowest funded education authorities so they can pool efforts in lobbying the government for fairer SEND funding (technically their reply said they were already thinking of joining etc etc … but only saying so two weeks after my letter arrived feels like too much of a coincidence! 
) I will now press the new Education Minister to meet with the F40 Group as soon as possible.
