World Book Day’s evidence shows that reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success – more than their family circumstances, their parents’ educational background or their income.
Daisy Cooper said ‘I was delighted to pick up these fab children’s books from the World Book Day event in Parliament and drop them off at St Albans Library who will donate them to a community library.”
