Daisy presses Hospitals Minister for faster re-build of Watford General Hospital and for cancer services to be relocated to the site
Daisy Cooper MP has pressed the Hospitals Minister again to move the highly specialised Mount Vernon Cancer Centre to the Watford General Hospital site and bring forward the start date for the hospital’s re-build, in a 1-2-1 meeting with the Minister today (7 January).

MPs slam Ofcom for letting Royal Mail off the hook, after allowing reduced second-class deliveries
Liberal Democrat MPs Daisy Cooper and Victoria Collins have slammed the postal regulator Ofcom for allowing Royal Mail to abandon second-class deliveries on a Saturday, and cut them back throughout the week. This announcement comes shortly after data showed missed delivery targets in Hertfordshire.

MPs slam Royal Mail after local delivery targets missed
Liberal Democrats Daisy Cooper, MP for St Albans, and Victoria Collins, MP for Harpenden and Berkhamsted, have slammed Royal Mail as just 82.8% of first-class deliveries within AL postcodes were delivered on time, and 76.1% in HP postcodes - both well below the 93% target.
